About Joanna Jordanova

Joanna Jordanova (1985) is a self-taught artist whose creative production revolves around classic figurative painting, presented in a conceptual manner. Though still maintaining figures as her prime subject matter, her focus has been the emotional content and the idea rather than narratives.  She is experimenting with her inspirations and artistic translations, pursuing more complicated compositions while also allowing for viewer’s personal interpretation.
